STHLM Trail Marathon

Race description

Warmly welcome to the second edition of STHLM TRAIL MARATHON! All races take place on a very beautiful course, approximately 15 km long. Each lap will offer you nearly 500 meters of elevation gain. Expect stunning views and a challenging run, mostly in hilly terrain, primarily on trails, sometimes unmarked, but also on a couple of gentler stretches where you can stretch out and run for a few hundred meters. New for 2026: • Stand on the starting line already in April! This time we’re kicking off early spring, so mark April 18th in your calendar now. • Kids Trail, a free race for our younger runners (born in 2014 or later). • The Brain Run, a virtual race lasting 18 days where the entire registration fee goes directly to the Brain Foundation and vital research in epilepsy. • Course preview runs. On two occasions, we will run through the first and second parts of the course. • Virtual running sessions in the Heyey app that ensure you stay in shape all the way to the starting line in April. What’s not new for 2026: • The course, a tough and very beautiful route in the surroundings of Flatensjön. • Sprint and Ultra, two trail races that challenge you a little extra. • Grit, the ultimate test that we don’t believe anyone can conquer. If you prove us wrong, you will win both honor and fame, as well as some prize money.
